first result

well, I've been doing this online CML quiz for stats B. I went to do it a second time for a better result, and so it turned out better but still not good at all. The first attempt i had 18.75/30 and the second i have 23/30.

And remember the Management of Financial Institutions test that i had, i got 13/20, which is 9.75%. Oh man, this really sucks big time! arghh

its really depressing to know how much effort i've been putting in but it doesnt seem to show at all. What on earth is going on?

Yesterday, i cooked the best meal that I've ever had so far, Black pepper chicken and chicken rice. Its sooo nice (:

haha, i haven't updated like this week cause i've been real stressed out over my first test which is 20mcq that is worth 15%. and honestly, the test was terrible. in addition to that, i did an online quiz which was business statistics. And i had like one week to do it. I've like been asking my friend and checking with the tutor like if i'm on the right track. well, i really tried my best. i did it and check it again and again. my friend submitted and she got like 26/30 and i got a freakin 18.75/30. the best thing is that like quite a few others i know got 26 plus. And this quiz is like 3%. hmmm. am i like even doing the right thing? soo muc effort but no results.

and so the week ended with me feeling all sucky and shity. i really needed a break. and so i gave myself one. i went out yesterday to the city to totally let my hair down (even though i dont have much, haha) and so, i went to the city with pats and debs. we went to the casino for our lunch. ok, the reason being that there the meals are much cheaper. it comes with a slice of cake, coffee and of course your main dish.

soo, after lunch we just went walking around to shop and look at clothes (: but unfortunately or fortunately, i did not get any. haha. after like an hour of shopping, we went to South Bank for our movie, "The Ugly Truth". haha, the show was really funny! but quite abit was like sexual humor. I must say, like quite abit of the stuff that they say about guys in the show is pretty true. well, i would say that it really applies to guy out there, but maybe some may differ with me. but oh wells, who cares right? the main thing is that when you have a plus one, just love the person like how you will want him/her to love you.

okay, movie ended and we now head to Little Singapore for our dinner. well, but on our way there, the girls started a camera frenzy and took like tons of picture. i'm quite sure all the super ugly and disgusting picture of me will be up on fb real soon. haha, back to out dinner, i've heard many fantastic stories about this restaurant, but, well, it really didn't wow me that much after all. We ordered a curry chicken with rice and a plate of mee goreng to share. total was like AUD $23 just for the 2 plates of food. with this amount, i can like get 3bowls of curry chicken rice and 3plates of mee goreng lar! sighss. hmmm, the next time i think i'll try like the laksa just because people said that its good, but thats like what everyone is saying. haha!

alright, now lets move on to sunday. i went to cccb as usual. and after church, i went to eat this korean lunch thing. well, its not too bad maybe just because i dont know how to appreciate korean and jap food. I'm a traditional china man! haha. afterwards, I went to Chinatown to get chinese grocery. i actually just wanted to get a little, but end up, i bought like super alot! i really almost died carrying all my stuff back. what a killer! hehh, but its worth it cause of the stuff i bought!

well, this week is going to be the start of a non stop stress for like the next 4weeks? sigh, i seriously cant wait for the mid semester break and the day that i can breathe in singapore oxygen again!

its just 20mcqs, and i have no idea why i dont seem to know what answer it is. this sucks totally. i really hope that i wont do too bad, cause this 20mcqs is freakin worth 15%~

sometimes i really wonder why on earth did i chose to this path. till date, it really doesn't seem to be a good choice.

ok, so i didn't go for yf or ocf this week. I decided to stay home today to get some rest and also do a little bit of work. i really hope that when the next week begins, things will be different and that when the tests approaches in 2 weeks time, the questions will seem much easier.

first rain ever in brissiebane

i've been here for like 1month and 1week? but today was the first time i experienced rain. it was like just like drizzle abit here and there in the afternoon. and then i was seeing if i wanted to go and run, so i went downstairs to see the sky conditions. and then, it was drizzling and all, and i saw a rainbow! haha, and then suddenly it reminded me of God's providence for me. Amazing.

and at night. suddenly, i heard loud noises coming from the roof. At first i thought it may be some bird or smtg. but it was quite going for a while and then i thought that it might be hailstones. So i went out to see, although it was super dark and i didnt see it exactly falling from the sky. i saw the ice cubes on my balcony! hahaha, first time experiencing hail! Awesomee!

EKKA 2009! well, i've went to ekka (: i must say its a pretty good experience. its like something you read about in charlotte's web or like an event you see in the movies. But this time i get to experience it (: haha, like there are animals, goodie bags, rides and shows to watch. the only sad part is i went there quite late, so i din manage to see all the stuff there. hmmm, below are the pictures,

And sunday was national day right? haha, soo i went for the Singapore students society. It was BAD! ok, i didnt rsvp to the event, soo i had no dinner provided. but its ok, cause the dinnner was freaking terrible! even my army out field ration is much bettter can. the dinner they serve you is plain white rice (COLD cause of winter), one chicken drumstick (COLD) and normal veg (COLD). its even worse then what prisoners eat lar. i mean after all its national day, cant they like find singapore embassy to sponsor or smtg? like you want us to support our nation and this is what you give us. Its a total disgrace lar! somemore the guy tell me, "ohhh, the food will be great. authentic asian food" NONSENSE!

soo below are the pics. i must say the parade was not too bad compared to the years i suppose. and the worse thing is that i really felt emo during the thing. its like we were singing along the old national songs and all, and i really felt it. Ahhhh, horrible feeling. seriously. And yes, we sang the national anthem and said the pledge at 8.22pm (spore time)
