i went shopping today! at the DFO (direct factory outlet).

ok, soo the best thing is i bought Ben Sherman's! whooooo! a tee for 49.95 and a polo for 55. thats like howwwww cheap lar! cant stand it plus i look gooood in it! muahahah! watch out for the new ben sherman model you all! hahaha

haha! i've got my first mail today! how awesome is that. now i know the joy that people have with sending real mails. e-mails and e-cards, hmmm, i think they can really step aside! hahaha

its the joy when you open the letter box and expecting to see a letter with your name on it. sooo, all you goooood friends of ak, let's put a smile on ak face in lonely downunder! haha!

alrights, the first week of lectures have officially ended. today was my last lecture. Well, wad can i say. through the week, among finance, accouting and tourism, i think finance is seriously the one i have no interest. haha. and the best part is im majoring in it.

in poly, i always say i hate accounting. but today, thourgh the lecture, apparently, i found it interesting. And it seems like i can understand it after all. hmmm.

well, i heard this from my friend yesterday. She said, no point worrying soo much. its time to action on it. but the most striking thing she said that i always forget is this, "Learn to trust in God, cause He will somehow help you through it if you put in the effort."

I really got to learn how to trust and rely on God. I'm sure and know that He is beside me and will direct my paths. I got to walk close to God!

tourism?

i went to school today again. i went for this tourism subject that im taking as an elective this sem. apparently, i really enjoyed the lecture. i think tourism is really my cup of tea, but oh wells, do finance for a better prospect and money. sighs. and this tourism subj has a presentation that is 25%. and at first i have no partner to do, than today when the lecturer flashed the topics up, people went to get their topics after the lecture. then im now doing with 2 european girls. i think they are from germany. not too sure though, lets just hope i can score well for this (: my first ang moh friends! whooo!

back in the tiny island, whenever i went out shopping it will be to zara, topman, pull and bear and many more. but now when i go shopping, its for freaking groceries. sighs. as the chinese saying goes, "tong ren bu tong ming".

first day

today was my actual first day of lessons at UQ. i got to say, its really quite bad. the entire lecture and all, i totally dont understand a single thing. its like i suppose to have studied the foundations before, but seriously, i dont think i ever did.

i really wished that i did not get any credit exemptions at all lor. seriously. sigh. this is so going to be hard and tough. seriously seriously neeed help now man. somebody save me!

Ok. and then i went out with a group of singaporeans. there are also new to brisbane, and i met them at the church last sunday. so we went out to have dinnner and a walk around city. which ended up in a grocery shopping again. like wth. its like going orchard road to buy veggie and all. sick stuff can.

fried rice!

haha. ok. i've just cooked my fried rice.

Step 1

you cut all the ingredients first. so that when you cook later, it saves all the hassle.



Step 2

Throw the garlic in first. Fry until golden brown and take it out. Then you can throw the meat in, and the rest of the stuff. From taking the longest time to be coooked till the shortest.








Step 3

You are all done with your superb fried rice!

Step 4

Scoop out your portions so that you and eat it for a few days (:


Things not to do when cooking.

You do not talk to your girlfriend while cooking. its very very dangerous. haha! but still, its worth it (:
